Get to know Me!

Hello, I’m Ms. Chauncey! I'm a dedicated spiritual and emotional coach with years of experience guiding individuals through their emotional and spiritual challenges. With a strong educational foundation, I hold a bachelor's degree in Social Work, which has equipped me with valuable insights into human behavior and the complexities of emotional health. Throughout my career, I've worked in various capacities, honing my skills in understanding and addressing the needs of diverse populations. Currently, I'm a passionate first-grade teacher, where I enjoy nurturing young minds and creating a supportive learning environment. Throughout my teaching journey, I noticed a concerning trend among many of my Black male students: their tendency to resort to anger as a primary form of expression. This observation opened my eyes to the stigma that surrounds Black boys, who often feel pressured to suppress their emotions due to societal beliefs that equate vulnerability with weakness. Understanding that these young boys eventually grow into men, I became determined to address the emotional challenges they face as they navigate life without the space to express themselves freely and without judgment. This realization ignited a profound passion within me to work with Black men, offering them a compassionate and listening ear. I am committed to creating an environment where they can express their feelings and experiences openly, ultimately supporting their emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical well-being. I firmly believe that Black men's feelings matter, and I am dedicated to empowering them to embrace their emotions, live authentically and become resilient!
